you are interested in purchasing anything on this site, you may do so by adding the item to your shopping cart. We accept
Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit or debit cards, Echecks and PayPal for online orders.
You
may also call 503-965-6262 to make an order
over the phone. Our normal handling time for most orders is 24 hours. If order is paid by E-check your order will ship
once the payment has settled, normally 3 to 5 business days.
Privacy Policy
Contact information including email address, telephone number, address,
etc. which is provided by the user is used solely for the purpose of completing the order. This includes information pertaining
to gift recipients. Financial information including credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing address is used solely
to bill the customer for their order. Nitrous Body does not sell or otherwise provide any information to outside
mailing lists.
Return Policy
Your Satisfaction is Our Top Priority. If there is ever a problem with an order, Nitrous Body Jewelry
will do its very best to remedy the situation. However, because we are dealing with body jewelry, certain ground rules
regarding returns must apply to ensure the safety and health of everyone. For the safety of all people involved, returns
will be accepted only if the following apply:
- The jewelry is in its original, unopened bag. Look carefully at your jewelry before opening
the bag it was shipped in. Make sure your item is what you ordered. Is it the color, style and size ordered?
Are there any visible manufacturing defects? Be certain, because once you've opened the bag it's yours to keep -- no
exceptions!
- You contact us within 2 days of receiving the jewelry
- The item received is defective
- The item received is not what was ordered (wrong color, wrong size, etc.)
If you do have to make a return, please email us and explain your reasons for why you need to
return the item. Once we respond and agree that it is an approved return, you may then mail it back to us with:
- The original packing slip
- A copy of the email; and,
- Proper padding/packaging (our bubblewrap envelopes are reusable).
There will be no exchanges without our email indicating it is okay to return the item, and Nitrous Body
will not accept or take responsibility for return items which never reach us, or which reach us in damaged condition of any
kind. Any authorized return must be shipped (postdated) within 2 weeks of receiving our authorization. No returns will be accepted after 2 weeks. NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO CREDITS OR REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED for returned items. Approved
return item(s) will be replaced with new one(s) and shipped back to you immediately.
NOTICE: Any order sent to destination other than billing address will be verified via telephone
confirmation. A valid telephone number for the payer MUST BE PROVIDED. If a valid telephone number is not provided the
order will ship to the billing address AND NOT to a secondary address.
Oregon State Law and observed industry standards prohibit us from accepting returns of Body Jewelry.
So, please inspect your jewelry through the clear pouch before opening it --'cause once it's open, it's yours to keep.
AGAIN... Nitrous Body will not return or exchange items because you order the wrong size, gauge or style,
just decide you do not want the item, if you fail to contact us within 2 days of receipt, or if you fail to return ship the
authorized return within 2 weeks of receipt of authorization. If you are unsure of how an item will look, if you
feel it might be too big/too small, or if you have any questions, please contact our sales department BEFORE
making a purchase. We are happy to help you make an informed purchase.
Nitrous Body Jewelry has been known to make an exception and agree to an exchange of merchandise
that is not defective in some extreme circumstances, however shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee will be assessed
when we send the replacement jewelry *(if an item must be returned due to a manufacturing defect, please see policy above).
Policy Regarding Gold or Special Order Items:
NO CANCELLATIONS WILL BE HONORED ON GOLD, SPECIAL ORDER OR CUSTOM ORDER ITEMS -- NO EXCEPTIONS. Such
orders are made to order overseas, and paid for in advance by Nitrous Body on behalf of the customer; therefore, all
associated charges will be passed along to the customer unless cause for return is due to receipt
of a defective piece. All gold body jewelry and carved organics, in particular, are custom made to your
order and is not kept in stock.
*If you place an order and decide you want to cancel it before it is shipped or put into
production, you may request a cancelation, but there will be a 15% processing fee. This charge covers our administrative
costs incurred from processing credits back to your bank or charge card, as well as other technical costs such as online inventory
restocking
