12mm - This pair of Black Onyx saddles boasts a whole lot of sparkle, sharing about half of the saddle face with crystal-like, sparkling druzy. 

*The top saddle has a slight flattening along a small section of edge (see arrow in photo) but it was ground and polished this way (trying to get as much druzy as possible in the saddle), so there is no roughness to it.  The other half of face on this saddle is not solid black onyx; it has a bit of striping at the line of demarcation. 

The bottom saddle is not a fabulous match to the top one, but it is really cool and the two saddles do look great together.  This second piece is less than half solid black onyx, but it does have a strong black line dividing the saddle face in half (so it does look a lot like the other piece).  The side that should be solid black (if it were to perfectly match the other piece) has a stripe of clearish agate that is heavily speckled with black onyx. 

Folks, the artist in China who made these for us cored many pounds of stone looking for areas that might produce specialty pairs such as this... he was able to make us 2 pair. The other pair sold last week within minutes of putting it up on the website, and this is the only such pair we have left. First come, first served. Good luck!
